Kristen Anne Bell was born in the year 1980. She is an American actress and singer. She was born in Huntington Woods and raised there. Bell is the daughter of Lorelei Frygier and Tom Bell. Kristen is Polish (mother's) and German (father's), English, Irish and Scottish ancestry. Kristen's talent for entertainment was found at a young age. She won her role as Raggedy Ann in 1992 after attending her first audition. Bell aged 13 when her mother signed as an agent was also cast in TV and newspaper advertisements. Bell also began taking acting lessons in private at the age of 13. Bell had a small uncredited role as a character in Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School, where she took part in both the music and drama club. In her school's production of The Wizard of Oz, Bell was cast as Dorothy. Bell went on to study music theatre in the world-renowned Tisch School of the Arts located in New York City after graduating. Bell graduated from college in 2001 when she was cast in the role Becky for Tom Sawyer. She made her first film credit with Pootie Tang in 2001. The scene however cut, and her only appearance is in the final credits. Bell appeared alongside Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
