Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue Elliott Taylor, an American actress and screen actress and producer. She is best known as a film actress due to her work in Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) and The Mentalist. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in African-American Studies from Brown University and an MFA in Acting from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Aunjanue Ellis, a producer and actress, who is active in theater, film and television. Her acting journey began in the theater before appearing in numerous television programs and both mainstream and independent films. She gained fame as Miranda Shaw, a character on ABC's Quantico. On BET's amazing series The Book of Negroes she was a character. In addition, she get praise from critics for her performance, but she got a handful of awards and nominations. In 1995, she appeared in her first performance on stage in The Tempest as Ariel. The credits on stage are Come and Gone Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis, a Broadway production written by Joe Turner. In her film career she is most famous for parts like Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help.
